Amazing what a song can do

It was a bright sunny day and the beer was being inhaled at a record pace and the other vices were not slowing me down a bit either.  Day turned to night at Panama City Beach's Harpoon Harrys.

This is where I met T.

This is the first song we danced to.
(By the way I cant dance)

That was the July 4th weekend 1999

Later that month at the Atlanta airport

It hit me as I was about to get on the plane

I was in LOVE and didn't want to leave

In September of 99' T came to Tx. and we went to the River Walk in San Antonio

It was there that I tried to place the ring on her finger and asked her to marry me

It was in that same spot that said ring did not fit
(both of us laughing)

On April 15, 2000 my beautiful T scared me as she didn't come out of the Sullivan House down the stairs like she was suppose to but she tricked me and came from around the house in a horse-drawn carriage.

While standing and staring at each other after we said our vows she said something to me that I will never forget.

Almost 10 years and 4 kids later, it never fails that when I hear that song Summer of 69' on the satellite radio, I flash back to the time when we first met and get I choked up.

Now that is definitely a great song...and this is such a sweet post!

Dude, I don't think you need a dishwasher to get your wife to be putty in your hands. If she reads your blog, I'm sure you can pretty much have your way with her any old time you ask!! If Tim wrote stuff like this (proving that he actually does remember the day we met and the day he proposed), I'd be all over him without a doubt.

Thanks for adding my blog to your sidebar! I'm gonna add you to mine!
