Never know what you will find at a Nascar race?

What do you do when you go to the Nascar race?
Well we really didn't go to the race but we did go down to the race and thought we were going to be able to have some fun by doing and seeing all the pre-race stuff.

Well I have not been to the race in years and I thought that they kept all of the outside stuff up all race long.  The cars, the give-aways, the displays...NO we got there about 12:30 and they were taking all of the stuff down and packing it all up.

But we did get to do a few things............

Kids played on the jumpy things for a while

So the kids got to enyjoy the jumpy slide

We got to see some of the display cars

And the kids got t see and sit in a little midget car

So we got to do some things and see some things.  The bomber fly over before the race was cool.  The bomber was so close it looked like it was going to hit the track.  You could hear the cars screaming around the track.

We did find 10 green pieces of paper flying around in the wind.  And the funny thing about it was that these green pieces of paper were $20 bills.  Yes, no kidding we found $200.  T saw this paper flying around in the wind and thought it was money, so I went to get a closer look and it was everywhere.  C2 found some, T got some and I got some.  Strange thing was that NO ONE was even around.  Reason is because they were packing up and closing all the stuff down so NO ONE was anywhere.

The day was good, we didn't get to see as much as I would have liked, but the kids had fun (except for the drive down) and we found some Disney World money.

So maybe in September we can go again and get there earlier.  Who knows maybe we can find Jimmie Johnsons sunglasses.

We LOVE those bouncy slides in our family. There's an indoor bounce playground in our neck of the woods, and G loves to go on all the rides (with my help, naturally).

We're not much of a NASCAR family, though, even though we live in teh heart of racing country!
