Random acts of Kindness
Isn't it always nice when people give you stuff. Acts of kindness are rare from people these days. So I have to say as I write this I am not knocking the fact that someone gave T and I some healthy food yesterday from one of the Whole Foods Farmers Market. This certain person is someone close to us and they do alot for T and I and the kids.
So the only reason I don't feel bad is because they actually got this stuff from his mom, and she is a very nice lady and she is always so pleasant. So this person gave me a bag of things and when I got home I showed T all the stuff that was in this bag.
Realize people, I never really looked at this stuff, I just took it, said thanks and put it in my car.
So when T started looking at the items she was quick to point out a few details that I overlooked, since I never looked at all.

FUNNY! We have this guy at church that gives our kids old hard candy that is way past its expiration date. Some of it is the little mints from restaurants that haven't been around for a couple of years! You can't even pry the wrapper off of them and then my kid throws a tantrum because he had his mind set on candy that I can't give him because all the paper is stuck to it. I think he secretly sits back and gets a good laugh out of the whole process! Hope this wasn't a contest to see the 1st to reply. You can keep your stuff : )!
Oh my goodness. I am SUCH a purger when it comes to expired or old food. My boyfriend will leave things around forever and when he goes out of town I PIO (pitch it out)! Boy it feels good.
Well, you now what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure! ;) ...or is it still trash?
Too funny!
...and that 'now' should have been 'know'...sorry, just had to correct myself.
I just stumbled across your blog and I am thrilled to have found it! I have to be honest..I snarled a little at a "daddy" blog, but you...YOU are wonderful! I am loving it!
