THE DAY THE BIKE STOOD STILL...UNTIL HE RODE IT
(pretend this is in deep movie preview guy voice)
THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE
(WELL I SAID)
THEY SAID IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN
(YEAH STILL JUST ME)
UNTIL ONE DAY
(REALLY ON JUST ONE DAY)
A SPECIAL VIDEO CAME ALONG AND
CHANGED HIS WORLD FOREVER
(WELL MAYBE NOT FOREVER)
Ok so back to normal voice now, I can't stop talking about Mollys video when her husband used a balance method to teach their kids how to ride the bikes. C1 saw that and wanted to do it. So yesterday T took off 1 pedal (only 1 cause the other wouldn't come off) but next thing she knew he was flying down the driveway. Then the pedal went back on and he was riding on the street. She also took the pedals off C2's bike.
My emotions were mixed. I was so fucking excited, so much I wanted to cry. He was so proud of himself and I wasn't there. That is the part that sucked. Something that I tried maybe once and gave up, he did in 5 minutes all by himself. The other part of me didn't care where I was, I knew that he had grown a little bit more by doing this on his own.
Here are a couple pics T took with her cell phone and sent to me
I did a little bloggie vloggie interview with him later last night...
enjoy.....

First off, while of course it would make sense that you would sound like you are from the south, it didn't ever occur to me that you really would. Always fun to hear someone for the first time.
And CONGRATULATIONS! That is so exciting. We in Minnesota (with our MN accents) are thrilled for you all!
How exciting! What a fun accomplishment.
He is adorable. I don't think you sound like you are from the South. What an accomplishment for him. Congrats!!
Oh my ovaries are ACHING after watching that!! What a little rockstar! His "mommy was so proud of me" had me grinning from ear to ear!
I also like how he started out with the fact that he hadn't been hit by any cars - that's always a good thing!
"I love my new bike!" He has so many adventures to go on now, that is so exciting.
Good job, T-dad. Thanks for posting.
