Yes, its over already.....the weekend that is!!!

Why is it that after a nice 3 day weekend, regular weekends jusk suck ass?  I mean it just seems to go by faster, I don't seem to get enough done and Monday morning comes to quick.  Well since I have to be here at work and not really feeling like it, I am going to do the best job I can today at making other peoples lives hell by repo'ing their cars.  So Happy Monday to you out there, if I am looking for your car, get your bus pass ready.

We finally did it.  This weekend we took the C's to see Toy Story 3.  We went to an evening show, so they were tortured all day, by looking at the new shirts we got them and by making them wait.   All T and I heard all day "When are we going?", "Im ready to go!", "Can I wear my shirt?".  C3 even had a hair bow to match her shirt.

We got there and I had to capture the moment with my ultra shitty picture taking skills.

Im not sure, but these 3 C's look better when T takes the pics.
Well yeah I am sure, they look better.

Yeah this pic really blows.

This is a good one.
But, where are the C's?

The movie was awesome and the kids loved it.  C1's favorite part was the beginning simply because he is so badly wanting that new Toy Story 3 Lego Train set, and he wants to build his own rescue mission.  C2 was sitting next to me and he couldn't stop laughing and had a smile on his face the entire time.  C3 after the movie kept repeating the now famous line from the end  "Get out of my butt", when Potato Head was yelling at the Peas in a Pod.  C4 well he slept.

It was worth the wait of a few weeks, the kids are now ready for it to come out on dvd to add it to the Toy Story collection.

The only knock I have against it was the use of the words "idiot and stupid".  I have to be glad that the kids are at least not repeating that, they know those are not nice words to repeat.

Toy Story 3 get a thumbs up from me.

We took the kids to a rolller skating rink yesterday with the use of a free coupon.  They have this big playground inside and that is what the kids did.  We tried the roller skating thing before and it was hard to get them to skate, ecspecially when daddy cant stand up on skates, let alone move on them.   They played, T cut and organized coupons and I followed C4 around and quietly hoped and prayed that my C3 wouldn't become one of these tweeny girls that hangs out at roller rinks with her little short shorts and knee high socks on, flirting with boys, while skating and talking on their phones.  T met some lady and spread her coupon wisdom to yet another mother.

My only memory of going to a skating rink was when I went to my cousin Shannons bday a long long long time ago and she had this friend that I was so in love with. OK a crush, I was 10 years old, so it was a crush.  She skated with me but I couldnt skate so that ended our affair and she would no longer have anything to do with me. Stupid girl and stupid skating.

Watch this week for my post about the Tasteful Selections cooking contest that T and I took part in.  I received an email a few weeks back from a reader and she asked me if we would be interested in having a chance to come up with 3 dishes involving potatos from the Tasteful Selections line.  We said yes and T and I got to work.  So later I will be blogging about our 3 dishes and having pictures to go along.

Want to try and win something GREAT. A Cool Wii game for the whole family.  Merrie over at Sleepless Mornings is having a awesome GIVEAWAY for a Wii Get Moving Family Fitness game by Jump Start.  The game looks really cool and so is her blog.

Happy Monday to you all.

We saw Toy story 3 on the weekend... the kids love it! We didn't watch it in 3D... Ezra was too scared.

We loved #3 too....It was kinda like this traditional, centimental thing that I had to be the one to take mine, because both my girls loved Toy Story and my youngest was practically obsessed as a toddler...so I had asked them not to see it with anyone else but me if they ever had a movie oppurtunity...lol...selfish maybe..

I agree about the words too...even as old as mine are " stupid " was always considered kind of a bad word.

I want to take my grand daughter to Toy Store III too. She will love it. Have a good week, get out there and make someone's life happy...
