The Candy Fairy Returns....but not the one we expected

The Candy Fairy - Someone who takes almost all of the candy away in exchange for a special treat.

So it is that time again for the Candy Fairy to make the grand entrance and escape all in the same evening.

T and I hired The Candy Fairy years ago and we have kept the contract up to date. In the past we have traded turns picking the Candy Fairy from the agency and we have had great success. The agency we use has a great selection of Candy Fairy's ranging from T's favorites of
Maks from Dancing with the Stars
(and yes he wore this shit in my house)
Tom Terrific of the Patriots and his awesome head of hair.

We had to discuss my picks a little but she did allow me to choose these two
Cheryl Burke from Dancing with the Stars
and the given of course
Kimmy K. Riding Hood

Well this year we were a little rushed for time with other things to do, so we told the agency "Send us who you have in the area, we trust you"

So after all of this was on the table

We let the C's get their jars and fill them up

And when I left for work this morning this is what the Candy Fairy left
for the kids on the kitchen table
In that bowl where all the candy once stayed
a Toy Story 3 movie now laid.
Thanks Candy Fairy the kids will be soooooo happy and thrilled.

But we did have a small problem. Well not really a SMALL problem, more on the large scale  See the Candy Fairy always leaves a photo to let you know who came, kind of like a business card.

Let's just say neither T or I approved of this choice by the agency and we are going to be talking about cutting ties with them. Cause this is some straight up bullshit. Seriously??  And I guess I know where the nasty fingerprints on the fridge came from!

Well at least the candy is gone and the kids are happy.
Thanks Candy Fairy, see ya next year

One of my clients told me he did this with their kids, minus any Kardashians - and I pretty much think it's the best idea ever.

And I think the fat Candy Fairy is charming. Sort of.

I'm not sure that I read past Cheryl Burke...

OK, first of all? I like T's taste!

Second of all, I'm dying! This is so freaking classic!

I LOVE THIS IDEA! I am Tweeting your post. Parents are always looking for ideas for what to do with all of that candy! I just love this!

BTW, we just got Toy Story 3 yesterday and I cried my eyes out. Guess the thought of my oldest going off to college next year really hit home. Toy Story has been a family favorite for so many years in our home. Enjoy the movie.
