Wordless Wednesday....but with words. Need a place to stay?

Wordless Wednesday
but with words.

I guess I may get the this down sooner or later but for now, I dance to the beat of my own drum.  And I don't dance well, so that may explain it.

Everyday I feel a little bit older. Probably because I am getting older. And you know what happens when we get older?  Our parents get older.
Like retirement type old.

Well that is what my old ass parents are doing.  They are retiring.  Finally. Well technically my dad has already retired and my mom is soon.

They are taking the riches they have collected over the years and spending on a new house.

They are building their dream house in the hills of Texas.  The house is a damn mansion with a pool and land. I'm sure it will be nice.

The C's are excited to go see Nanny and Paw Paw's new big pool that has a ramp in it.

They love guest's also so if you are in the Texas area and need a place to crash, look them up.
Just walk in the door
take your shoes off. Im gonna set this rule up for them.

Ok so I had alot of pictures of the house and they are not loading.

So here is what you have to do.  In Amazing Race fashion, if you find that door (above) then I will let my parents know that you are harmless and it is ok for you to go inside and visit.

Nice door Mom and Dad.  The rest looks good too.
Happy soon to be retired old people.

Congrats to your parents! I can't wait for the day my parents retire but they say they are buying a traveling RV & camping the US...which would be fine with me cause we love to camp & the kids would have a blast going on trips with them! Can't wait to see more pics of your parents "pad" after they get it done. You guys are going to love visiting them I know!

Oh I am totally coming for a visit! It should be pretty easy to find, right? I mean... Texas is pretty small, isn't it? I'm pretty sure it could fit in Alaska like 3 times.... or something like that! ;)

I love a challenge! Gonna look them up next time I'm in Texas. I found you on the blogfrog and I'm glad I did. Love your writing style.
