Wee-Kend Fun...Back in the flow

The weekend was very good to me. Had some nice time with the wife and kids. Played outside and inside. Did a little of this and that.

Friday night started out awesome. I had these grand plans of getting the kids to bed early and T and I would then go outside and sit by the firepit. Well our little night owl C3 was up till around 11:30 and then when I had to go out and keep re-starting the pit and I finally got T outside...she got attacked by some huge flying bug that I had to swat down with my hand and she ran back inside. So that was it for our romantic firepit outing.

After coming back inside from the firepit,  T and I watched one of the best skits that Jimmy Fallon has done in a long time. A best friends break up with Stephen Colbert. We were both laughing and singing along. Well ok, I was singing.

Saturday C2 had a soccer game and his team didn't do so well. Showed some flashes of greatness but off and on. C2 wasn't so sure about playing defense. I need to work on that with him.

When C2 and C3 and I were driving to the store to get gas for the grill, Katy Perry came on the radio. C3 my new little music lover says "I like this song"  ?????? She does?????

Kids had a sleepover Saturday night. They love it when we make the couch out and they all crash out together.

Sunday we started getting stuff together for the yard sale next weekend. Kids enjoyed that. Asking over and over "Are we selling that?" "Can we sell that and have the money?"

Yesterday was so pretty outside. We got alot done. T was Mrs. Green Thumb.

And T put chicken and noodles in the crock pot yesterday. We have decided that every Sunday is food in the crock pot day. The chicken and wagon wheel pasta was so awesome. We are going to name it Chicken Wheel Soup.

Well thats it. More to come.
